At Luchana we are committed to helping others, showing love and compassion to all in need. We pray for and support a number of great causes.
“If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.”1 John 3:17-18

Coastal Connections – Kerry Baker, from our Leadership team, is a teacher at Ashgrove School, Penarth. Kerry wanted to take school to the beach whilst at the same time supporting her local environment. She therefore created Coastal Connections – Beach school and Environmental support. The aim is to encourage and inspire individuals of any age through positive outdoor coastal experiences. Coastal Connections regularly visit their local beaches exploring a variety of activities taking the curriculum to the coast. During visits they carry out beach cleans in partnership with ‘Keep Wales Tidy‘ and ‘Surfers against Sewage’. Coastal Connections offers the individual not only an alternative learning environment but also much more. To find out more, visit http://www.ashgroveschool.org/coastalconnect
